“Lotions and Potions” Review

Dawnne’s homemade products for bath, beauty, and home are wonderful.  The products are all made from scratch with healthy ingredients.  She does not use any pre-made bases or soaps.  When I placed my order, Dawnne had no idea that I planned to review her products on my blog.  However, she was always friendly and helpful when I had questions.  Customer service is a huge deal to me and on that, she gets five stars!  In fact, not only did Dawnne make me a custom scent, but she also made it a part of her available scents and named it after me: Wake Up Glenda!

  

When I first tried the Whipped Body Scrub,  I thought the whipped texture would mean that I would need a lot of the product.  However, after giving it a try I found the opposite.  The whipped, frothy texture of the scrub made it easy to apply and spread so that it actually lasts longer.  In addition, the lemongrass and tangerine essential oils gave the scrub the eye-opening kick I need in the morning.  Later, I tried the hemp oil and sea salt scrub in the same scent, which left my skin feeling like silk and instantly became my favorite.  Like the whipped scrubs, the hemp Oil body butter has a great texture that spreads easily.

In addition to making a custom scrub for me, Dawnne also made a kid-friendly scrub and body butter for my eight-year-old son, who loves to have his own collection of bath products.  Adam also enjoyed Star Wars shaped bath melts in a wonderful spearmint scent.  My order included a sample of all natural cream deodorant in the scent Black Coconut.  This is the first all natural, yet effective, deodorant I have ever tried and loved!
